Humans have always communicated through speech. Prof. Martin Spiertz tells us, in the #FHWSPodcast, that you can also control robots through speech with the help of an algorithm.

Language as a communication option is nothing new for us as humans. For this reason, the use of speech is also very easy. No wonder that we also want to activate Alexa, Siri and co. using speech. But the algorithms behind such an application are also becoming ever more extensive. The solution: an artificial intelligence, AI for short, which can be addressed with the help of command words. This is precisely where Prof. Martin Spiertz, Head of Communications Engineering, is developing a special voice command algorithm with the help of the students in the voice command lecture.

You can learn how voice control is being implemented there in teaching and research and what the students are currently working on in the #FHWSPodcast.
