In the SimCar project, students build Lego cars. Using the small colourful building blocks, they simulate real industrial car production: warehouses, assembly lines, and components. Everything that matters in industry is there, just on a smaller scale. Elisabeth Schmipf, student in the master's programme Trade Journalism and Corporate Communication, asked students Oleksandr Ahafonov and Nikhil Patil about their work in the logistics lab of the Faculty of Business and Engineering. She also learned from Professor Dr. Peik Bremer, lab manager, about the benefits of approaching logistics in such a practice-oriented way.
