Not all students and staff travel to THWS by bus, train, or bicycle. Commuting accounts for the largest share of CO2 emissions at THWS, namely over 80 per cent. That is why the University has now teamed up with the ridesharing app uRyde to reduce CO2 emissions. Trade Journalism student Lisa Köhler talks to Katharina Falkenstein, climate protection manager at THWS, about the path to a climate-neutral higher education institution and the potential of uRyde.
