THWS has two South-Indian partner universities. At Rajagiri College of Social Sciences mostly courses for the degree programme in Social Work are being offered. The college is located in the city of Kochi, a harbour city of great historical importance. Christ College in Bangalore is located in the third-largest city of India and is especially well-suited for students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Business Information Systems. One of the students who dared undertake the adventure of a semester abroad in India is Ruben Oesterle. He spent the winter semester 2022/23 at Rajagiri College Of Social Sciences.
